I am not real keen on Bad Company. They have a few songs I enjoy, but I kinda took offence to Paul making a remark that his singing was as good as Freddie Mercury. That anybody could even come close to filling in for Freddie is preposterous. Thats like replacing Ged with Josh Groban. Both great singers, but it just isnt the same. IMHO

Freddie was .. well... "Freddie", not sure that anyone could mimic him.
Paul was hired to "replace" Freddie - to me, if they were wanting someone to mimic Freddie, they should have stuck with George Michael. He nailed it to the floor.
Pauls voice has NOTHING in common with Freddies - both were/are far too unique.
