KEINT-HE - Pinot Meunier (Canadian - Prince Edward County)

Love the unique limestone mineral flavour mixed with a rich plum and cherry. I would pair it with beef and spicy dishes.

Wow - have I got a lot to learn. I have never even heard of Pinot Meunier before.

Me too Boomer!! Big Grin I am still learning about wines all the time.

Pinot Meunier is believed to be a mutation of Pinot Noir.

Oooooo then I might enjoy that one!!! We are big fans of Pinot Noir - in fact, almost any Pinot to us is tasty. Unfortunately living in the frozen tundra its hard to find some of those special wines like that, but it gives me something to look for.

I love Pinot Noir as well so perhaps that is why I liked this varietal so much.

Hope you can find it and let me know what you think Boomer, good or bad.

Went through six different bottles of Pinot last night at wine club. I have a new fav:

"Hob Nob" Pinot Noir / 2009.
Gooooood stuff Maynard.

Most of us are so caught up in life that we forget to live it.

Hob Nob - I believe I grabbed a bottle of that during the Christmas Break. Thats an awfully good vino, even if I am a neophyte.
