RE: Fellow Insomniacs?
Nope, we're in houses, not even that close together. I just have bloodhound nose when I'm pregnant. The first time I was pregnant, I could smell the people over a block away who started smoking pork in a back yard smoker at 2am every other Friday.

RE: Fellow Insomniacs?
I don't suffer from clinical insomnia. But during my 3mo/yr "crunch time" I do have restless brain syndrome. If I'm awakened for any reason during the night, my brain immediately goes into business panic mode and I have MUCHO trouble going back to sleep. I've tried just about everything barring pharmaceuticals and nothing works. It's almost identical to what some of my ADHD diagnosed friends experience...total brain wander.

If that happens again, you should hop online! There's usually a few of us yapping about nothing on the ol FB until the wee hours.

My solution is to turn on CBC Radio 1 Overnight (available online for those of you south of the border): intelligent information radio from public broadcasters (including Deutche Welle, the BBC, Radio Australia, Radio Netherlands et al) all night long. I either doze off or learn something! ![]() ---- I'm not one to believe in magic, but I sometimes have a second-sight.... |
