Just make sure it lands feet first.

And now for a pet peeve of mine: if I as an adult walk into a swanky bar to meet people oh in say Lost Vegas, and order a soda, don't tell me to go around the corner to the newsstand and get one. They are going to charge me the same 6 bucks, and I chose to be in your bar!

What happens in Vegas... usually leaves you with no cash.

Most of us are so caught up in life that we forget to live it.

A pet peeve is when I am the last to comment on a post, and the next guy bumps me off, and he becomes the most recent post Wink

RE: The Pet Peeve
New pet peeve: people who stop in front of me or back into me when I'm wheeling along. Now, you'd think that the foot rests hitting the back of their ankles would be enough satisfaction. But, no, I don't want to hurt anyone. Really. So I installed a bicycle bell to let people know I am coming so I don't damage their legs. *ding* *ding* "Look out, please, I don't want to bang into you."

So, I was tooling along at the Forum, trying to make it to the bathroom and back before the show starts, ringing my little bell. The one that's meant to protect **them** and some high maintenance only-there-with-her-date fashion plate remarks to her identical friend, "Well she thinks she's special, doesn't she?"

No. I don't. In fact, I'm embarrassed to have to sit in a wheelchair when I can actually walk. Just not very far or for very long. And I sure can't stand for an entire show. It bugs me that my husband has to push me around -- except when I convince him I can roll myself to the loo. I love him and I know he really doesn't mind but I feel bad that he has to do it. It's just uncomfortable for a control freak like myself.

The few perks don't make up for that. /rant

Grocery chains that vent the aromas of their fresh baked goods right over the entrance doors. Went in for a jar of tahini and came out with a 6-pack of croissant.

Curse you <insert well known regional chain here>!!!

Our Bubba, a world tour guide, calls that well known regional chain "Chateau Walmart"
