Is anyone else here a Howard Stern Show fan?
Keeping in mind we have to keep this forum "clean", I don't know how much of the Stern Show we can actually discuss Tongue, but I just thought I'd ask.

I have been a big Howard fan since about 1995 when I first heard him on the west coast. I followed him to Sirius and I listen to the show over the Internet while I am working. It's a good thing I don't have employees or I would have probably been sued by now for airing that show in the office! It's also a nice distraction in the car when I have to sit in L.A. traffic to and from court appearances.

One thing I have noticed that my fellow "40ish" attorneys have in common is wine, Howard, and Rush. It's nice to know there are others out there with good taste! Cool

RE: Is anyone else here a Howard Stern Show fan?
Used to listen to Stern years ago. I think about the time he just started to get really big. Was okay. But, got a little over the top for me. Then, when he came into the Minneapolis market and started getting nasty and attacking the local talent I stopped listening to him. I also stopped listening to the local talen for a while because they were attacking him just as bad in retaliation.

So, I went to CD's for many years. Now, I'm mixing it up and listening to local talent every once in a while. But, still find myself either listening to CD's or albums via MP3's (cell phone plugged into stereo) more often than not.

I'm a stickler and like to listen to whole albums instead of custom mixes.

I listen to Howard now and then, usually when he has an interesting guest. And I have to admit, some of Sal and Richard's crank phone calls are pretty funny. But I can definitely live without the porn star interviews (they're morons? really?) and the political ranting ... that has me reaching for the dial pretty quickly.

Here in southern Ontario we have Kim Mitchell hosting the afternoon drive on Q107. He's a pretty good radio host, and often talks about his experiences both as a solo artist and as frontman for Max Webster.

Yes, Sal and Richard have become really good at the phony phone calls. At first I didn't like Sal's and Richard's contributions to the show, but they have grown on me, and Richard, as it turns out, is a pretty good drummer.
