Arts Advocacy
The 111th Congress declared a resolution concerning Arts in Education.
Check it out!
As a House resolution, the bill does not require signature by the President upon its passage. You can read the resolution here <http://capwiz.com/artsusa/utr/1/KVKYMYLYMP/EMVBMYLYQK/5560791521> .

RE: Arts Advocacy
Hopefully this will will create a better allocation for programs. The bulk of any given program is $$$ whether you talk about instructional staff, supplies/equipment, buses, fees, etc. Visual Arts and Music programs cost more than your standard subjects but teach skills that develop critical thinking, problem solving, visual and aural literacy, creativity, discipline, and passion for life. My music and art classes paid me back personally more than many of the subjects that are held as the standard for learning.
