RE: What's in da fridge???
What's in the fridge? Hmm.
Half stick of butter. Kind of a funny shade of yella. Pint of rice from last summer. Probably as hard as little rat teeth by now. A dark brown liquid substance of an unknown origin. Carrots. From a well intented diet plan at one point in the past. Cheese wiz. That's fresh. Milk. But it tastes more like orange juice. A gallon of Cider that must be more potent than Bacardi 151. A cracked egg. Diet Freska lol ohh I'm kidding! Don't talk smack about Total!! |

RE: What's in da fridge???
Wifey went for a girl's weekend out in Vegas a couple weeks back. I came home from work to find my mother-in-law whipping up a pot roast because she felt I "might need some help in the kitchen". LOL!!...bless her lil heart!
Anyway, the next day I concocted leftover pot roast and roasted red pepper frittata. ![]() Last summer, returned home from a long multi day ride to an empty house and a nearly empty frig. Soooooo...some hunk of pre-cambrian beef that, apparently, had become lost in the bowels of the freezer...tossed with soy sauce, feta, a 'mater and a handful of chive from el jardin...served on a zuchini pancake(also from the garden). Best I could come up with. ![]()
To ask why we cook is to ask why the leaves fall... |
