Vince, mate, as you say - do it for you, if others like it, that`s a bonus, if they pay for it, even better.....

The Starting Line Rap.By me

The starting line is calling
There can be no stalling
No crawling nor bawling
No mothballing
Wiiiithdraaaawwwing

Swimmin’ with a wetsuit makin’ fishies play scatter
They should be used to it by now I don't even splatter
Talkin’ 'bout fishes… huh
No problem in my gray matter

Yeah
Let me reminisce
They call it a runners high
Something's amiss
Yeah
I gave up some life for this

Permission admission condition
Hydration nutrition digestion
Position technician mission
Ambition tactician friction
Morrr-tiiii-cian

The starting line is calling
There can be no stalling
No crawling nor bawling
No mothballing
Wiiiithdraaaawwwing

Are you scared?

Starting with a cannon
And I’m in it for the finish
I said it’s FOR THE FINISH
The finish
The finish
Never diminish
I’m in it for the finish

Yeah!!!

I eat, therefor I am.

To clarify: I make fun of teens (and older peeps) that spend thousands of dollars on their rides, when the vehicle itself is probably worth one tenth of the value of the stereo in it.
I told someone long ago that they could have saved all of that cash by putting a monkey in the trunk to bang on a bass drum.
Add a large zipper... perhaps a wood block... VOILA!

You signed the contract - you must do my bidding

Three White Butterflies
Dancing in the morning light
Dew glistening on spikes of purple
Spiraling upward like a barber shop poll

In graceful formation
In a palm sized circumference
Rising and fluttering up in to the sky
With symphonic precision

Lifting upwards to a climactic pinnacle
They suddenly break away
Each following after fragrant nectar
That the Tiger Swallowtail has left behind.

It didn't suck, Vincent. It's just different from your well-written prose. I write poetry, but it's such a personal thing, I've been afraid to post any here. I think, generally, people are much more critical of poems-especially those that don't rhyme. Keep writing. I like it.

If I'd known you were French, I'd have worn galoshes...

and some people just enjoy something, and move on without a comment.
Then there are a whole bunch of men on here who might like it but not want to comment...it didn't get deleted, so it must be all right!
