RE: Verse
The Monarchs must be flying south to Mexico, stopping off on Long Island and othet places. I counted at least seven on my butterfly bush! This should probably be posted under "birds and butterflies."
"Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then." "Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup." "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." |

RE: Verse
Like a star in a black sky
Shining light years Millions of years ago Reaching for my eyes since the Universe first blinked. Like the face of the lunar sphere Reflects the Sun, its keeper From afar and away Lighting Earth on her dark side. Like a flame burning in night Incinerating matter Thousands of centuries old Warming my face in amber glow. Your love touches my senses Making me wonder Thousands of thoughts within Awaking my spirit from the mundane sighs. November 6, 2001 "Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then." "Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup." "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." |

RE: Verse
Love that! The first stanza is really evocative
... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big! |

RE: Verse
Very nice, Vincent!
If I'd known you were French, I'd have worn galoshes... |

RE: Verse
VERY cool Vincent! I like the third stanza...
I want to look at life - In the available light. (off-road light that is...) |

RE: Verse
I'm touched. I wasn't sure that anyone would get all of the imagery. Some of it's elusive and nebulous.
"Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then." "Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup." "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." |
