I can eat a lot of Japanese food as well as Mexican/Spanish food. And capsaicin: Jalapeno, Serrano, Cayenne and Habanero with food of course, is a part of my diet. But one thing that capsaicin is also famous for is pepper spray. I had a can once of 10% pepper spray. Being drunk one Summer, (I live in East L.A.), I was eating nachos. I was bored, so I brought out my can of pepper spray, sprayed the nacho and ate it. I felt no effect whatsoever. Wow, you got off easy! When my hubby went thru PD academy here in Tx. The popped some goggles on him and sprayed him in the face. Still killed his eyes, and blistered his skin a bit. He still can't tell me which was worse though, the pepper spray or the taser ride! I got jalapeƱo in my eye once, thought I'd gouge out my eye, I think I'd gladly eat the pepper and take the ride... Do deep thoughts and lofty ideals cancel each other out? |
