RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here...
You know, there are nights when I think things are "groovy" in our little Bubba Land. Maybe tonight not so much.
I recieved that long awaited email that my Dingleberry phone gets from Bubba's web site - notifying me of an update to the site. I was upstairs at the time watching tv with Mrs B at the time, but after our show was finished I just had to come downstairs and take a peek at the latest "News Weather & Sports". I find that almost every time I am engaged in a sort of mystical out of body experience reading about the travels, the experiences, just life in general. Maybe we all do in some measure.....guess we wouldnt be here if we didnt, eh? But for maybe the second time since S&A - I feel just a little hint of guilt. Be safe in Europe guys! For You Steve & Monica - Your Love will forever shine on in our hearts!!!

RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here...
May I suggest...
Package the shirt in such a way that it cannot go unnoticed when it arrives. Colorful, interesting, something that makes a person want to open it. Remember, we are dealing with a creative person who probably gets a ton of stuff from fans. Send it to Anthem to Neil's attention. Politely call the SRO office first to let them know it's a very important gift from some members of Bubba's Bar and Grill. Ask if it would please be possible to make sure that he gets this. Tell them what it is. Maybe he'll get it...and if he doesn't it's not a reflection on his character because everyone has to understand the demands on his time and that if he could respond he would. Talking about Peeps... You can find plenty now on clearance shelves. They're probably nice and hard and chewy just like I like them. They age like a fine wine. Furthermore, I really feel that there needs to be a whole band of peeps. I know it's a lot of work, but make it happen! Each should be a different color with props and everything. Get creative! We've seen your work before! "Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then." "Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup." "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." |

I hear you Boomer, I came away with that same feeling after reading the latest update and to be honest I often feel that way. Reading Bubba's interview in the latest Classic Rock Prog mag was another example, I just can't help but get the feeling that in the not too distant future we'll have had our lot. And who could blame him one bit. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels very grateful for the many ways in which Bubba lets us in on things, more so than other people in his position would. (That's why I always have real difficulty figuring out the folks that give him such a hard time). Yes, safe travels when you all come over to visit us in Europe, the time and effort it takes to make it all happen is certainly not lost on us. There's a lot of it about. |

You'll be laughing so hard that you spit it out. As for Neil's update, yeah, it sounds like 1 more tour and he's not going to be able to tear himself away from his family to do it any more. Which is o.k. with me...not that he needs our approval for anything. The Groundhog lied. Winter will continue for the next 6 months. |

Indeed, I am very grateful that Bubba still feels it's important for him to play live. As he wrote, "It's what bands DO." But I also know how hard it must be to tear himself away from his family. I hope he knows how very much we appreciate it. I hope he also knows that when he wishes to spend more time with his sweet little girl, we won't be one bit put out - at least those of us who understand that Bubba's a human being and not an automaton. Don't even get me started on those twits who give him a hard time ![]() Safe travels and good shows to the whole gang! ... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big! |
