RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here...
Yes, those old classic cartoons are really good. Today's cartoons are kind of...weird. I feel sorry for kids today who can't experience a saturday morning eating sugary cereal and watching old good WB Bugs Bunny/Road Runner cartoons.
All this talk of marching bands has me thinking of a funny scene in a movie. There is a band marching in a parade, being led by one of those guys waving around a baton. Suddenly another guy rushes up and knocks him out of the way and grabs the baton, and takes his place leading the marching band. He then takes a sharp turn down a side alley, and the marching band faithfully follows, until they reach the back of the alley which is a dead end. All the band members then start walking into each other, backing up like a traffic jam, and the music becomes a scrambled mess as they are all falling over each other. Ah, that was great (wiping a tear from my eye). Anybody remember what movie that was, was it Animal House? I like Italian food and Italian roadsters |

The Music Man is my favorite "marching band" movie (Robert Preston/Shirley Jones/Buddy Hackett/Ronny Howard).
"I always think there's a band, kid!"
Love and respect... Turn up the music and smile! "Adventures..." |

Heck Rey, I did that on Saturday mornings with Katie! Still do sometimes ![]() I think the movie that scene is from is Animal House.... not 100% positive though ... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big! |

Did you guys wathch the Foghorn Leghorn clip? I'm still laughing over that opening scene.
"Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then." "Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup." "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." |

Of course Vincent, I watched the clip, thats why I mentioned the old cartoons in the following post. It was a funny cartoon.
![]() Speaking of...I think this is going to be my plan for my next birthday. Find some of those old Warner Brothers cartoons on DVD, get up really early and put them on, and have all I can eat Captain Crunch cereal while enjoying some Bugs Bunny, Wile E. Coyote, Foghorn Leghorn, and Pepe Le Pew. It will be like I am 10 again, I can't wait... I like Italian food and Italian roadsters |

RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here...
I LOVE Foghorn Leghorn! I also loved Rocky and Bullwinkle and all the different cartoons on their show, Beanie and Cecil, Soupy Sales, etc.
Then there's always Crusader Rabbit, VaVaVoom, Tom and Jerry, Snagglepuss, and a million others! If I'd known you were French, I'd have worn galoshes... |

Don't forget about one of my all time favorites in the WB catalog, "The Confederate Wolf"...he's the one who somehow inherits a little goat and he eats him out of house & home, all the while whistling a little tune-too funny! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pla...cSjBXtXq1c I love the Cap'n Crunch too, though most times it's reserved for late nights when the "munchies" kick in! "Rollin' numbers, rock-n-rollin', got my Kiss records out!" |

Ha ha, that was great, my favorite part was when the little goat ate stuff. Here is another favorite of mine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IfB34ldyes (I was beside myself...with anger!)
