RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here...
I've always wondered about some of those cartoons.... You know the ones I REALLY wonder about, though? The "cartoon" on Adult Swim. I mean, have you ever watched Superjail?
Bubba, let us know what cartoons you watch with Olivia, please? Inquiring minds, ya know

SM, I used to stay up to watch all the good stuff on AS late at night. Superjail was insane. Moral Orel and Tom Goes to the Mayor were my favorites. Robot Chicken got a little too much (read:stupid) sometimes. Aqua Teen Hunger Force was pretty entertaining as well.

Robot Chicken is just freaky. Aqua Teen Hunger Force is pretty funny though. Every now and then you will see "Baby Blues", which is based off the comic strip. Love that one! RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here...
"Bondon" aka Barney was the regular request for about 1 1/2 years. At least they sing and it's musical I reasoned when I realized I had lost that battle with "Pop baby culture." It was everywhere, if not at my house-some other kid's.
Yes, the 60's and 70's were an experimental time in almost every part of the culture! Great and not so great things came from it. Overall it was cool being a kid in the late 60's-70s. Oh gosh yes, I love AS. Watch every night since I'm such a Night Owl. Robot Chicken, ATHF (or whatever they call it now) and Venture Bros. are my favorites but I like Moral Orel and The Oblongs and Baby Blues when they show them. Maybe we need a cartoon thread......

RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here...
Cartoons have always been a favorite thing for me to watch. Loved Johnny Quest and Space Ghost as a kid. When I had kids of my own, Barney didn't last long, Pengu and Pokemon took over. Then we found Ren and Stimpy, Simpsons and the sarcastic children turned on me.
![]() We found Home Movies, and became fans of that, then followed Robot Chicken, Moral Oral, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, which eventually led to Squidbillies. Frisky Dingo and now I watch Archer. Afro Samurai if I happen to find one. Cartoons is it! Remember Heckle and Jeckle? Popeye, Woody Woodpecker, and the Flintstones? Really quite racist when you see the old stuff today but none of that really sunk in when I was a kid. Oh Bleat! |

I remember "Scooby Do" being the very first thing that I ever read.... my brother taught me how to read it out of the TV guide. Loved the one with Mama Cass in it!

RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here...
It's funny you mention Mama Cass. I have been thinking about her lately. Heard a few songs on SiriusXM; remembered a documentary about them, even had a conversation with my dad and secretary on separate occasions. Not that I'm a great fan....but I noticed that not only did I like her, so does everyone else. I love the way she sang and her body language was so cool.
