You KNOW that Bubba's on here...

RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here...
The thought of sleeping in on Sunday is really nice, however the question is, will I be able to do it? Ever since I married, my internal alarm clock wakes me up at 6 or earlier. However, my husby can sleep in until nearly noon. Sad

A party without cake is really just a meeting

Well, being as he's a bit closer to the equator, Bubba won't have those long, icky winter nights to deal with. Lucky! Tongue

I always suggest to people with doubts as to the possible negative impact that they look up the derivation of the word fan. I must say though, that other than the usual few "anonymous idiots", the responders to that post on FB ripped a strip off the dude's hide and he quickly took it down. Most of us, myself included, will never feel the effects of a home space invasion either physically or emotionally. We all handle our journey through life in our own way. We do what we can to cope and we open the doors of our homes to those we wish to welcome inside. Why should anyone not respect that or wish for something different. We are inundated in our lives with all sorts of stimuli and responsibilities. We can't absorb it all. We need our filters and only each person individually knows what he can handle. This necessitates blocking some things and absorbing others. I do it, you do it, he does it, we ALL do it. Sorry for the rant. Certainly not directed at Bar Peeps. Peace and space.

Appreciate the take there B. Your wisdom is duly noted, and appreciated. I did discover a couple other folks in my FB Friends list who "shared" the article. I recall some other words of wisdom you shared with me once, and its a hard lesson that is reminded in this story.

Now where is that clock key?

Oh, I forgot - Bubba got the best name check yesterday! I'm a fan of the TV show Psych and I'm playing an interactive online mystery game with them right now. We are in week 6 of the Hashtag Killer game. We communicate in Tweets, hence the hashtag. So I sign on yesterday at the start of week 6 and I'm greeted by this Tweet from "Shawn":

How fun is that? Big Grin

No Bubba, we aren't considering you as a suspect... Wink

Hey Bubsie,

Congrats on everything! It has been a busy season in life for you that I hope melts into the season of thanks and warm family times by the fire.
