RE: You KNOW that Bubba's on here...
Charleston = quiet place, chock full of history, great food, friendly peeps, access to deep water, good golfing, nearby Savannah and Hilton Head, five hours from the Smokies.

However.... if you are young and full of pi$$ and vinegar, it may not be your cup O' tea.

'Prolly the same Ahole that pointed a Glock at me one night. Asked me if I wanted to hit him.
I told him if he took that badge off I would ruin his evening. Never say that in front of TWO cops.

Gotta speeding ticket in Bluffton. $200 only 10 mph over. I guess I made that fat goober's day.

No please dont tell me that!

I dont know what the name of this cretin was, but he had an obvious burr in his saddle about the military. Found out later he was demoted and sent to another district for that stunt. Charleston, before the hurricane, was awesome. Used to go to Battery Park, lots of seafood spots, but.....

That, my friend, is HICKVILLE if there ever was one.

What's up with arrogant cops anyway? Most that I know are really cool grounded people but once in awhile you meet one or two who are rude, abrupt and just plain nasty. Less like public servants and more like shnooks.

I know they deal with a lot of the dregs of society and they've become hardened, but it really is important to treat every new person they encounter with cordial respect.

Isnt this like pulling over a couple guys on BMWs on a logging road in the middle of nowhere?

Keep your eyes on the ones wearing mirror sunglasses and with a toothpick in their mouths. Not an ideal situation to be in - just saying.

Aw, they're not all bad. I got pulled over for doing 60 in a 45 (was keeping up w/ traffic, I was just the last one). Once the cop saw my Mil ID card and learned I was DD'ing for my fellow First Sergeants, he let me go with a "Oh cool...have a good evening! Oh, and slow down a bit!" I said thank you and asked him if he'd like me to bring him some wings from the restaurant we were going to... Smile

Turn up the music and smile!

If you are in Georgia, that might be my cousin. He is such a character. He does stuff just to freak people out, but he really is a good guy.

So does another officer that frequents this place.Big Grin
