Best to be born at 19, no messing around with learning to walk, speach, nappies etc.....Wink

Avoiding all those years of grade school, high school.....
Must be a great money saver! Tongue

Has anyone else noticed the "change" in the light?
Its not summer anymore, it crept away quietly....
Don't get me wrong, I love Autumn: harvest, falling leaves, snuggling in front of a fire, but its another year almost gone...sigh.

"This is a standard queen outfit, then?"

RE: Change of season
Yes we are slipping into Autumn over here - nights drawing in, and a chill to the morning and evening air.........

She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker"

No! No! Don't rush it anyone. The good 'ol summertime is still here. I've just been outside, the sun is shining, and it feels warm on my back. I have many good, fun plans in the coming weeks. Long live summer! Cool

I like Italian food and Italian roadsters

RE: Change of season
With apologies to those who love Summer, I can't wait for Fall. The weather in New England (Northern Mass, to be exact) is perfection IMO, but I guess I'm biased. ;-) If only I could get rid of the darn leaf peepers. It's a dead/dying leaf! It has lots of colors! Get over it. ;-)

Ah... obviously some strange new meaning of "mature" of which had been previously unaware. Wink

Even though it's cool and cloudy today, it's till Summer. Fall can arrive here anywhere between Aug.1 and Sept. 1. I don't know about everyone else but I can feel it - there's a change in the air. I can't describe it but I know when Fall has taken over from Summer. It can still get very summer-like, even downright hot, but the change is palpable.

... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big!

My two favorite times of year are - ironically, almost non-existent: Spring/Fall

You signed the contract - you must do my bidding

RE: Change of season
Yes, I feel it too...

It's a sense that something good is coming to an end, yet it's still good at the present moment, but noticeably changing day by day. Tonight is the first night we've seen temps in the 50's since early spring. Crickets are very active-that sound takes me back to childhood. The air is cool, full of memories....melancholy moments. "Wake me up when September ends."

Then I get a jolt of "summer's not over yet" as I defiantly plan additional vernal fun.

Muffyman, I agree-those are my two favorite seasons as well.

"Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then."
"Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup."
"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end."
