RE: Change of season
The Peeve of Peeves! I'm very easy annoyed at the supermarkets lately.
I don't like standing in long lines at the market because I don't like to talk about useless and stupid things with people I don't know. (Believe it or not :0 ok moving on). And I can't be rude, ever. I wish I could.
So tonight I'm packed in line being forced against my will to talk about something as I'm putting my food items on the counter to purchase. This person who is making me engage in this mindless
orgy of words starts commenting on what I'm purchasing!
Ohh I got those apples last week and they were so good...
-Great hahaha good thanks
That is the best icecream oooohhhh but you got the frozen yogert, trying to lose a few pounds are we?
-hahahah oh you know (this lady just became the devil)
Oh dieting is so hard, how long have ya been at it honey?
-um I'm not on a diet at all
Well why ya got the frozen yogert then?
- I like it! (I see red)
frozen yogert had come so far in the last..
-I'm sorry I have a phone call (as I fake it)

I thank God I wasn't buying toilet paper tonight.

RE: Change of season
Hang on, let me pick my lower jaw up off of the floor.

That's a pretty intrusive person! I wouldn't ever assume that's why someone would choose yogurt over ice cream or even think of making those comments, let alone think them. You did an excellent job of keeping your cool on that one!

RE: Change of season
Sort of like asking a woman when she's due only to find out she's not even pregnant...

Sacred cows make the best hamburgers.

I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughtnut... I don't need a receipt for the doughnut. I give you money and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I can't imagine a scenario that I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. To some skeptical friend, 'Don't even act like I didn't get that doughnut, I've got the documentation right here... It's in my file at home. ...Under "D".'

I have a cartoon I clipped out of a magazine when my wife was pregnant with our first daughter.....

"Doctor - please tell me this is from too many Big Macs!".

RE: Change of season
Well it's been a long year and two months for this kid. In that time my life could be compaired to a motocross track. Hills and valleys, thrills and chills. Obstacles that I have never even thought of attempting, or ever wanted too. But being forced to go for it, I just buried the throttle and prayed for the best. I can see my landing and it looks like I'm gonna be just fine. Good news today! Perhaps same fellowship but different affiliation. Maybe it doesn't all end bad for our like kind. New season? We will see.
