Can someone s'plain to me why it is that all (well, all the ones I've met anyway) the single dudes who like a certain polka band and have similar interests are a bit "off" and quickly take themselves out of the running? Angry

Depends on what, and how, the "similar" interests are, methinks. But then, I've not exactly been looking either....

And now for something complete different:

I had to look up doctors at our local hospital today. I found one named (kid you not!) Dr. El Ghoul listed as a primary care doc. The zombie apocolapse must have started.. I just didn't expect them to have PH.D's. That was almost as weird as reading about a little boy yesterday who might lose his eye. His doctor's name? Dr. Blind. (Seriously!) WTF? Am I the only one who thinks this stuff is both funny AND creepy?

I have worked with a girl who used to manage the sanitary towell contract for the company, called Miss Blood.

I have worked on a National Food Board with a Mr Topping, and a Mr Curry (well actually he was a Sir, but you get the drift).

There is a local company of Barristers called Doolittle and Dalley.

My FIL used to live in a place called Wyre Piddle.

My ex girlfriend managed a pension for a bloke called Mr Bigrig.

Funny stuff.

She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker"

"It was pretty fun to have, but long gone now. There are several Bluesmobile replicas that are brought to the Chicagoland Emergency Vehicle Show every year, along with some of the 70's period Chicago and IL State Police cars that pursued it. S.C.M.O.D.S. anybody?" Says Rey.

I couldn't tell you. My guy disguised his quirkiness pretty well, lol. I didn't even know who the boys were until my guy told me.

Our local hospital has a couple of doctors with odd names. One is a surgeon I believe whose name is Dr. Hacker. The other is Dr. Balz (not sure what his specialty is)

RE: Continually Off Thread
Well, I've had a bit of trouble getting onto the Forum. Last night, when it *would* load, it would take sooooooooooooooooooooooooo long. And everything would be wonky. Dodgy

Now that's all better.... here's my dissection/review of the CPB's new album: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/07/09...-Rock-Roll

I do hope Bubba reads this as I'd like him to see that I can actually write a longer review when I put my mind to it, as opposed to the brief recap of the Gorge show I typed last July. Wink

... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big!
