Yeah - she is looking a bit frail these days, and still puts in a full weeks work.

I think Belle has some shots of her at Worcester Cathedral where the Kings`School have their pomp - It was a school created with Henry 8th reformed the monastries and still holds lessons in some of the old Monastery buildings, "Great Hall" for example. Its a bit like a very posh Hogwarts........

She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker"

It will be a nice thing for your Bella to have some pictures of The Queen. Something to put in a scrapbook and a subject to start a conversation with.

This is one Yank who adores the Queen! I love her whole family - yes, even Phillip! It was exciting to be at Windsor on a weekend, seeing the Royal standard flying, knowing HM was nearby.

We went into St. George's Chapel, too. I had no idea that The Queen Mother and Princess Margaret were entombed there with George VI. When I came upon the alcove, I burst into tears - I loved the Queen Mum dearly. The concierge looked at me like I was nuts! I imagine she was wondering if I was [Image: diapoe17bc2dba263785e078fe5a88301f7.gif]

Speaking of Royalty ... Not really but seems like I owned a piece of comic royalty ... For a number of years after graduating college, I was an avid comic book collector. My parents bought me Animation cels as a graduation gift and my love of art morphed into me buying several original comic book pages for next to nothing (maybe 400$ for 5 pages) from Neil Gaimans Sandman series. Most pages were by Jill Thompson, but there were a few other artists in there as well. As it seemed these were disposable at the time, I seemingly had the pick of the pages available and chose some nice pages. Rather than bore everyone with gory details, for those who want to know specifics email me and I can tell you. Anyway, after watching one of the many auction shows on TV (it may have been Final Offer on Discovery) I began to inquire about value and if there was any interest/ collectors. Turns out that my $400 investment netted me a 5.6k profit! Color me surprised! Goes a long way towards paying for the home repairs, dogs eye surgery etc!

Yes, you must. The ones I've been presented to have been quite lovely.

That's awesome! And well-deserved.

I love Gaiman and the Sandman books Smile

Here, back in the day when I was an ink-stained wretch. They're here comparatively often, despite much hand-wringing of the anti-monarchist types.
