Yeah it is amazing, sort of spooky, but reassuring. There was another one of a fossilised head with a Sabre tooth tiger imbedded in it. The tiger had obviously bitten into and killed the humonid?? but could not open its jaw wide enough to extract its teeth from the bite, and was thus trapped with a tasty morsel of food in its mouth, but no doubt died of starvation and dehydration......bad karma...

She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker"

Mmm! Skullsickle! Urgh...

All the stuff we learned in that class was pretty cool. Especially how the way our ancestors lived enabled our brains to get bigger, to enable us to do more...it's really quite facinating. If homonids have come this far in a relatively short span of time (compared to...oh, the Earth), it just makes you wonder how much further can we go? Or will there be another massive catastrophy that will wipe us all out first?

Things that make you go "hmm"...

RE: Continually Off Thread
I have an uncle like that. Even if we screamed at him, I think he'd just calmly wonder what our problems were.

I feel a little like screaming right now. We're supposed to move out of our house next Wednesday, aaaaaaaaaaaand we still have no where to move to at the moment. I'm hoping that a local apartment complex calls soon about a 3 bedroom place. I'd like to have a place to land.

And once we're in an apartment, we don't know how long we'll be there. Husby is on his way to the midwest for a job interview. If he's offered and accepts the job, then we're looking at a cross country move. If not, then we'll start looking for another house in our current town. Very unsettling. Included in this deal is a teenager who is less than thrilled about the idea of a midwest move.

Well, back to packing, dismantling, and cleaning.

A party without cake is really just a meeting
