Stock Market
So -does anyone dabble?
I did when Nasdaq was scorching the roof in the late 90s, then I went conservative. I think things will be shaken and stirred after November.

RE: Stock Market
In my pappys words, its gonna be a bloodbath in November and I sure hope the old timer is right. I had over $16,000 invested in the market, and lost about 2/3rds value of my portfolio in about 9 months. Its still there, although not much has changed. I decided to leave it there and invest in real estate.....so I bought a house instead. I'd have to go to my folks house to look up what all I had, but it was money market stuff that I could invest in thru an account at work.

I am thinking of making a small return to investing some if the market would loosen its grip just a bit. I know I know - I havent "lost" anything yet, but right now the worth of the whole portfolio is just slightly higher than toilet paper. Damn investment people anyway!
