Candied Jalapenos
Yeah - for real. These things are like crack (I'm guessing here). I'm not a big fan of candied anything, but these things rock.
Their website is: http://www.campbellgardenspeppers.com/Products2.html There are five "recipes" on the site; which are basically existing recipes where they have added or substituted their product. Should you order a jar, please keep in mind that they ARE jalapenos... and if you eat half the jar... you will pay. RE: Candied Jalapenos
I would think they would be like having a jalapeno jam or jelly. Which if you take an 8 oz brick of cream cheese and soften enough to spread on a platter and then spread on the jam/jelly and serve with RITZ or Townhouse crackers makes a very easy and quick snack. So I'd bet if you diced the candied jalapenos and sprinkled on top you would have almost the same effect.

We were in San Antonio last summer and were served candied jalapenos over creamed cheese. The restaurant served it with little melba rounds. So good! There are some recipes on the internet for candied jalapenos, but I haven't tried them yet. If I'd known you were French, I'd have worn galoshes... |

RE: Candied Jalapenos
We had some of these in Phoenix a few years ago when my brother was involved in a near fatal car accident. We stopped at what looked like a small diner, and I saw these on their menu and had to try. They brought them out on a platter with crackers, and a cream cheese that had garlic in it. My mother was NOT very pleased with me ruining my intestines with "those vile things". She despises anything hot. I'm the opposite.
I never saw them advertised like this though. Will have to place an order. For You Steve & Monica - Your Love will forever shine on in our hearts!!!
