Butter Dips
1/2 C of butter (for pan
2 1/4 C of sifted flour
1TBSP of sugar
3 1/2 tsp of baking powder
1 1/2 tsp of salt
1 C of milk

Preheat oven to 450 degrees

-Melt butter in a 13x9 pan (my grandma usually used a glass pan)

-Sift dry ingredients together
-Stir milk in slowly with fork until dough just clings together
-Turn onto lightly floured board and knead lightly about 10 times
-Roll to 1/2" thickness into rectangle
-Cut dough lengthwise, then crosswise into 16 strips
-Dip each, on both sides in melted butter and place close together in pan in two rows
-Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown

(this is my dad's favorite dinner roll)

A party without cake is really just a meeting
