RE: What Do You Do To Feel Good?
Rode down to the River Walk this morning. It was thirty degrees cooler this morning than it was yesterday morning at 11:00.
The wind was blowing, and the streets were pretty much deserted in Old Town.
Not really sure why, but I wound up staring up at the "giant banking industry" arena, where in August of last year, the fellas lifted it off of its foundations.
It was my first show - ever. The wind blew around me, and I could swear I heard Lerxst releasing those first nine notes...

Is it time yet?

I pick a direction and RIDE. A couple tankfuls(about 600mi these days) usually fixes me right up...

Me too, but it's been too bloddy hot to ride these days.

Sometimes I still think about selling it all and getting a 1200 and just....going.............................

How much mileage would you gain by switching to a 1200? I can hit 220-230 on my thumper(with that goofy white aux. tank I addedWink). As far as riding for me...I just get lost and figure out where I am when it's time to return home. Tongue

You gotta stop talking and just do it. I made the mistake of looking at a GS AFTER I got my HD last August.

RE: What Do You Do To Feel Good?
I know this is gonna sound BLASPHEMOUS, but have you looked into the KTM 950/990 Adv? It's more rugged than the GS and a bit lighter as well. It is a bit more expensive as well too, about $2000.00 more I think.
