I love to crochet and sew. I love to play tympani in concert. My favorite thing is writing poetry. I also want to write a book based on something that happened in my life years ago, but I might have to wait until those involved die

Yes, please do. I've tried some decorating and I'm pretty good at basic stuff. But I've been itching to try fondant. I make things with polymer clay and imagine they aren't too very different in consistency.

I don't use fondant, but I have an assortment of decorating tubes. I'm doing a bunny cake for the first time, even bought the bunny shaped pan.
I've done cakes for wedding showers and birthdays, but I like doing cupcakes and putting them on a cupcake stand. It looks really cool and it's a very simple set up.

A good bunny. The cake is out of the oven. I'll be decorating later, as the kitchen is occupied by the family bread baker at the moment(my sister).

I began playing drums when I was in elementary school. After high
school, I attended Musicians Institute in Hollywood,CA (1983).
Though I have never made any "real" money at it, it is something I have
always loved to do. Usually every friday evening I get together with a
couple of friends, one of which also went to M.I. when I did, and "play
some tunes." While we take time to learn some of our old favorites, we
really do our best when we "create" something of our own (sometimes
it is music, othertimes, it's just noise).
You can never really play someone else's music like your own. It is how
you feel about something; it comes through in your playing and creates
that emotion that, if were lucky, will transfer to those who are listening.
