In Common
I was thinking recently that it would be interesting to see what we, as a group, have in common with each other. I mean, obviously we are all here, so we have that common ground. But what else? For instance, I don't play drums, drive a motorcycle, travel extensively, or write books. But I enjoy bird watching, nature, communicating with people without face to face contact... stuff like that.

People make quick decisions about others just by seeing them one time. I am not immune to that. But we can't see each other here, so we're not going to be as quick to compartmentalize, to judge, to decide we wouldn't get along, without a little bit more exploration. So. Here are a couple of quick things about me. Does any of it overlap with you?

I like the colors red and dark blue.
I love being out in nature, and watching things grow.
I like to make stuff - currently with a sewing machine.
The sun coming through the windows makes me happy.
I enjoy attention.
I like to read.
I prefer company to being alone, though I do value some alone time.
I like coffee.
I am messy.
I am much prefer to use products that are natural and not bad for the environment.

That's a start. Your turn =)

Well I can see quite a bit of overlap here -

I like Red, (would love a Guards Red 911 turbo) most of my suits are dark blue
I love the country and live in the countryside - although I love big cities and bright lights too - I enjoy working in London (Westminster around Parliament Square and Horse Guards), but coming home to the country.
I can`t sew...
Love the sun, but can also enjoy extreme weather - storms, snow.
I love attention - but it brings some responsibilities with it...
I love to read - especially on the train back from London - you can eat a couple of books a week..
Likewise on company.....a few really close friends....
Tick for coffee
I am really organised and methodical every thing in its place and a place for everything......my wife and girls and the total opposite.......so I have learned to adjust......
Tick the whole green and sustainable bit too.....

A few from me -
Love walking
Love pubs
Love mountain biking
Used to love motorbikes - but havn`t ridden for a long while
Love drumming, bands, recording, playing etc
Starting to love gardening a lot
Love holidays
Love food
Love travelling and meeting different people and cultures
Love nice wines
Used to like flying, but was not very good at it.....

She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker"

I also love walking. Pubs are fun. Gardening is great, but my yard is small. Hoping to make a small garden this year. Traveling and people - yeah. But I'm shy, so I do well with others who are outgoing.

I see several similarities...........to me Smile

I like red & blue as well as purple, and even some shades of green
I do like to get out and walk & hike, and I like it more when I have someone to walk and hike with me.
I love to watch birds and wild animals and I love to photograph them (if they stay still long enough for a picture).
I also love to read, and try to make more time for that.
I also value alone time (which might be why I take over an hour to buy a gallon of milk in the store, lol)
I'm constantly working on the "messy" part.
I also love coffee (anyone who knows me well, knows that I do)

A few other things,
I'd rather communicate by e-mail than talk on the phone.
I like to travel, and hopefully one day, I'll be able to more of it.
I like to sew.
I love ice cream..........and it loves me right back.
and I LOVE to make lists..........on paper.

A party without cake is really just a meeting

Life 101 (as I see it)

- The Law was never made to be enforced by it's letter, but by it's Spirit. The Law was never made to be judged by it's Spirit, but by it's Letter.

- Not everything is bad or good for everyone.

- Just because your a pizza maker does not guarantee that you make good pizza.

- Not all windows were designed to crawl through.

- If the war within you is at peace, be aware.

- When in trouble, pin it WFO!

- Dark clouds may not be clouds at all, but a huge shadow.

- Not all that say I am, are and not all who say I will, do.

- The one who appears to be in second place may actually be lapping the one in last.

- The final result is not where the victory took place.

- Water never goes away no matter what you do with it, and niether do tears.

- Night can't overtake the oncoming morning.

Did this answer the topic question?

Don't talk smack about Total!!
