3 cups of white sugar
1 and 1/2 sticks of butter
6 oz. of evaporated milk
1 13 oz. jar of Ferrero Nutella --hazelnut spread--
2 1/2 cups of mini marshmallows
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup hazelnuts, chopped (optional)
In a heavy 3 quart saucepan place the sugar, butter and milk.
Over medium heat bring it to a full boil(Stirring Constantly).
Keep it boiling (and stirring) until the candy thermometer reaches 243 degrees( or about 4-5 minutes time).
Remove from the heat and stir in the marshmallows and Nutella until smooth and consistent in texture and color.
Add in the vanilla( and optional nuts) stir well and then spread into a 9x13x2 pan that has been lined with foil or parchment paper.
Cool at room temperature for 4 hours or more, then cut into desired squares.
Store in a sealed container in a cool area.
