The Military in Our Thoughts!

I have no friends or family in the military currently. So that leaves me free to send all the good thoughts I can to those of others. And I do.

I am blessed in that I know of no -one, nor have any relative in service at the moment.

Thanks, Scythe! My son, Cpl. Jordan Smith, USMC leaves for his 2nd tour in Afghanistan in July. My Dad, Lt. Col. Bill Sample USAF is the only other military in my immediate family-although he died 10 years ago.

Military, Police and Fire have always been in my prayers.

I feel strangely safer knowing NBC is protecting us.

Amen GW! Thoughts for your son! I know a whole bunch of Marines who served or are serving. My uncle served in Vietnam as a Marine, my best friend too, and his son is now in the Air Force.


I feel just strange period knowing that Ol' NBC is out there......WAY out there! Sorry buddy - you know we love you!

Raised Air Force here and most of my family has served, none at the moment either, but a fair amt of friends have or are serving now.

Gungawoman - my thoughts and prayers are with your son! If you wouldn't mind passing along my thank you for his service and bravery.
