I thought it looked familiar - I remember that day well. We went out to Lake Louise for my 40th birthday and snapped a couple of shots at Morant's Curve. It was cold that morning -40 degrees C. (same thing in Fahrenheit) but it was such a nice clear day. I'm sure there were a few broken knuckles on the rolling stock that day. |

Alright I will call it a gig this time! Does that make me cool now? Did it work? No? What do you mean I'm trying to make it sound like I'm in some kind of cool band or something, and playing a show. Its nothing like that at all, although it is very noisy and I should wear earplugs, as it kind of sounds like 4th of July up close. Not as cool as a concert, but the crowd tends to like it none the less.Burma you are one super cool, fun gal! You are amazing! I like Italian food and Italian roadsters |

RE: Tanks, Planes, Boats, Military Stuff
Raised glass to the boys from D Squadron 22 SAS who (with USSF) rescued a kidnapped worker in Afganistan this weekend.
She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker" |

Quote:I'll gladly toast to that NWoBHM, whenever these ''Boys'' pull a stunt like that, there is something to raise the glasses, no questions!!! I do feel very proud of them I must admit LTC, as they are based a few miles from where I live, and an old mate was in them for 5 years. Actually, there are quite a lot of retired ex SAS around here as I suppose they like the area and stay after - I was walking around Hereford the other day and there were a few shop fronts who specialised in "Close Protection Bodyguards"......I wonder why?? First, in answer to your question.... Makes 2 of us that wonder why.... ha, ha, ha... I guess that if you needed a body guard, these guys would be ''top notch''. They are top of the business from what I heard and the stories they must tell... |

Yes I think they are top of their game. although the SBS and Royal Marines Arctic Warfare Cadre are supposed to be very good indeed as well. If I was ever in need of some protection these would be the first people I called. She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker" |

What do you mean I'm trying to make it sound like I'm in some kind of cool band or something, and playing a show. Its nothing like that at all, although it is very noisy and I should wear earplugs, as it kind of sounds like 4th of July up close.
