oh yeah, after the 4th time of walking behind my car, he finally spied it, 2 rows away.

You must have been extremely patient. Mrs B would have given him the Hawaiian love sign.

I had purchased one of those bags that keep items cold because it's almost 90 degrees here today. He opened it up and said "Do you want your cold items in this bag?"

Similar sitch....go to the local grocery for the express purpose of buying several reusable shopping bags. I was not paying attention to bag boy at the checkout, so when I turn towards him after paying, I see he's bagged my reusable bags in....a plastic bag. Really?!

Blah blah blah....yada yada yada!

I've had them do that! Luckily, the clerk on Saturday was much more with it than the bag boy.

Note to bag boys: Turn the brain on please.

Can't expect much for $5 an hour.

RE: IOTD awards
Ok - I gotta toss my brother's hat into this one. Anyone who rides any sort of motorcycle can relate, but my brother just seems to find every pile of ka ka to fall into that he can possibly find. He just bought a used '99 Vulcan tricked out with all sorts of chrome and all. Pretty lookin thing. Saturday he took it to the mechanic and had him change oil, plugs filter the works. Takes off westerly on Sunday morning, and somehow on his way back towards Las Cruces, NM, he gets a flat tire - which he just had inspected. RATHER than use his cell to call for Roadside Assistance, he turns the bike around, and rides twenty miles on the flat rear tire at about 10-20 mph. When he got within about 3 miles of Las Cruces, the tire finally tore off and he had to push his bike back to town where he parked the bike and got a hotel room....all the while assuming a new rim would only run about $100. Today he gets up, goes over to the bike dealership, only to discover they weren't open. When he finally got a mechanic on the phone, turns out the rim that he had rode on the whole way back to Las Cruces wasn't $100, but over $600, not including new tire.

Can you say OUCH!!!

Don't get me started! Sometimes I wonder what he has even going on up there in that head of his. Dont worry - he's got a couple slaps coming from me for this one. The worst of it was I asked him if it ever occurred to him to call his insurance company with his cell phone, and he says "I forgot about it". I think dad must have hit him a little hard when he was a kid.
