RE: Umm...
![]() I know... I'm having some post-tour depression, too. But Bubba and the boys deserve a good rest. Just keep repeating to yourself, "TM DVD in September!" Plus we all have memories and pictures we can share. Which shows did you go to? You know I was at the Gorge but I also went up to Vancouver to see the show there. I got really lucky and an online friend had a 4th row center seat free up. My husband and daughter were so good about that, sitting in our original seats (and selling mine for a little) and letting me sit up so close. I got some wonderful pictures from that show. And some great memories - Alex and me having a little mouthed tete-a-tete after Presto stands out for me. ![]() That was also my daughter's first Rush show and she loved it! She wore her steampunk outfit to that one, as well as to the Gorge. She was happy to be able to take her girlfriend to the Gorge for HER first Rush show. They had a wonderful time and the Boys made 2 more fans at the end of this tour. ![]() So, what are your highlights? ... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big! |

RE: Umm...
Taking my boys to their 2nd show and sitting 6 rows back in front of Alex. Plus Alex giving me a funny face while he was singing during Vital Sign as I was singing along at the top of my lungs.

RE: Umm...
I usually follow Rush around the country on each tour during the summer months because I don't work much during July and August. THIS tour took place very early in the year while I had my nose to the grindstone at work!
The good thing about THAT was...I saved a boatload of money. The sad thing is that I only got to see them two times, Portland and The Gorge. But those two shows were the best of my life! Michael brought me sticks after 'halftime' in Portland and The Gorge show was my 50th Rush concert on my brother's 50th birthday. I called him from the show and held my phone up for him to listen. |

RE: Umm...
My daughter's rock "n" roll education is finally complete. I wanted to my daughter to see 3 bands live in concert. Springsteen and KISS were two of the concerts. But the hardest ticket to find was RUSH. I have seen them through out the years but it has been well over 20 years since they came to Greenville SC. For me and my 14 year old daughter this was one we were the most excited to see. I bought the tickets in Febuary and the concert was June 8th. And we actually counted the days. The concert was outstanding. The proudest moment for me as a Dad (and a fan) was seeing my daughter pump her fist and shout during 2112. I will never forget that. After the concert I told my daughter she just earned her PHD.

RE: Umm...
How do you guys get these amazing tickets all the time? I'm always in the back, row zz behind the post and tall teenagers with cowboy hats that stand through the whole friggin show.
Seriously How do you guys get such awesome seats?? Losers visualize the results of failure and live in fear. Winners visualize the results of success and live in abundance. - me |

RE: Umm...
I was standing by the computer the moment they went on sale in Oz.
I bid on stage left and was told I got it - then told that I had missed the bid. Jumped right back in and bought Geds side, down in the very front corner - off of the floor. Got it. The only thing between us was the "lurkers" (security) and the monitor board. I know you will find this difficult to believe OHR, but the fellas are pretty frakin popular... Sit on that computer and wait for the next venue to open. Bid ASAP for every show that you can make. I will tell you this - my vacations next tour(?) will be based loosely around the shows. You signed the contract - you must do my bidding
