RE: Hello From Kelowna
Thank you so much everybody for your warm welcomes.
In response to Old Honda Rider - Yes, the Okanagan Valley is a beautiful place (Kelowna, not so much anymore), but there are some areas that are very nice south of Penticton towards the border. And Burma Girl - Thank you very much for the reference to me being the new kid (Can't remember the last time I was called that) Not in this millenium, I know that for sure.. Cheers: Stephen |

RE: Hello From Kelowna
Hi Mufasa:
It looks like I've found a fellow gearhead on the board. Very good assumption - I've got a numbers matching 1970 Chevelle SS that was purchased off of the original owner way back in 1981 (Moving Pictures anyone) It is an original 454 LS5 (sorry not the LS6) 4 speed car that I hopefully will be completing the full frame-off restoration sometime later this summer ( I'm never going to that again - what a lot of work) And yes it does have a fully functioning cowl induction hood.. Thank you for asking |

RE: Hello From Kelowna
I didnt see this till this morning. No go on the LS6? Still not a bad ride! You ought to post a few pics so those of us gearheads can drool a bit on our keyboards! I remember a guy in - where else Kalamazoo Michigan who did have a numbers matching with the LS6, and pretty much flat stomped on everything with four wheels.
Welcome to the Grill!!! For You Steve & Monica - Your Love will forever shine on in our hearts!!!

RE: Hello From Kelowna
My wife has worked on race cars, pick ups, semi's, and never complained about breaking a nail. She did get her hair caught in the radiator hose one time when I was trying to reinstall it on our '97 Ford pick up, but I got blamed for that.
You sure are brave Mufasa. |
