Video Motorcycles and Photography in Africa
Gillian Hine, motorcycle adventurist and photographer based in South Africa, has some outstanding photos on her website. Well worth a look: Motorcycle photography by Gillie Hine.

For the record, I'm not affiliated with Gillie or GS Adventures in any way, shape or form. I just really like her stuff.

Some very good photos there!

Every time I see sites of adventure riding, I keep wanting to do the Trans-America trail.

I would love to take a couple months in the summer and do a road trip across the states. I don't have any friends that could take the time or would want to do it.

Then go anyway and make friends along the way! It's a great way to meet like-minded individuals (not unlike this message board, actually). There are countless riding clubs across the US and Canada. You can connect with them through the instant magic of email. Check out Motorcycle Clubs Directory, that's a good place to start.

"Old?"....You or your Honda? HA!

Sacred cows make the best hamburgers.

I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughtnut... I don't need a receipt for the doughnut. I give you money and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I can't imagine a scenario that I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. To some skeptical friend, 'Don't even act like I didn't get that doughnut, I've got the documentation right here... It's in my file at home. ...Under "D".'
