The SOUNDS As I Go to Sleep....

RE: The SOUNDS As I Go to Sleep....
Re: choiring of trees comes from a book title I read several years ago. Similar to "Cold Mountain", it tells the tale of a man wrongly accused of a crime and sent to prison. While there he yearns for home in his beloved hills, where he can listen to the wind in the trees (oaks AND maples). He escapes, and a long pursuit entails as he makes his way overland to return home to his farm and woman who waits. Just love that phrase, excellent visual for me. Choiring.

Most often I fall asleep with a whinning and tinnutus seranading me to sleep...Funny, as with floaters, (awful name associated with the vitreous liquefaction of your eyes) which I have too, your brain recognises it as a bit of an unhelpful problem and fools the brain into thinking they are no longer there, unless you happen to think about them again. As I have just done DOH!

Wow, Brian! You should record all of that...I'd buy a CD!

Thanks Patty, wish I could. It's not always so lovely. A few years ago a rookie driver rolled his car going uphill and was ejected from it, sadly dying some time later as a result of his injuries. In the ensuing months to follow, his peers paid homage by doing burn-outs on the hill in the dead of night. Felt like sleeping next to a speedway.
