Padron Chilies
Has anyone tried Padron Chilies from Spain? They use them for tapas there. I found some seeds on line and planted them for the 1st time this year.
Pick them when they are no more than about 2" long, or they become HOT. About every 20th pepper is HOT, the rest are mild. To cook them, saute them whole, in Spanish olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt. Tried my first today. Oh, Mama!!!!!! SO GOOD! Must. Grow. More. If I'd known you were French, I'd have worn galoshes... |
