I didn't get the "Mom-not Mom" thing at all either CD.

While I understand not wanting to revisit horrors, there was an awful lot left out that would have contributed greatly to the storyline.

Yes, Albion was small and so was the Watchmaker's reach, but apparently, no one living within his reach seemed too upset with the state of affairs. The Seven Cities part seemed like it took him forever to get there and then he only stayed for an afternoon-or so it seemed. Again, more details!

Overall, I really enjoyed the book and looked forward to reading it every evening. I just thought there were many areas that could have easily been expanded that could have added SO much depth to the story. Those are details that wouldn't be appropriate maybe for a sequel, but should have been included in the original book. But maybe I'm nit-picking....
