I might post a few pics of Saturday night if we can get HWG to get some ink! Should be home by next Friday. Be safe everybody - lets keep Stephen and Monica in our thoughts, and make sure Brutus gets a few as well. Ride safe all!...watch out for deer in the headlight! I'm gettin' jealous...bikes, tats, mountains, food, friends...just don't get much better than that! "Rollin' numbers, rock-n-rollin', got my Kiss records out!" |

RE: Sioux Falls South Dakota Meet-up?
Everyone is traveling now, so I get to do the first post-game!
![]() Entre and I rolled up to Sioux Falls about 3:30 yesterday, after driving 1790 miles! (The lengths I go for you people, really! )We were met by Mr. and Mrs. B and Mr. and Mrs. 2Beers, all wonderful people, and we talked and laughed till we moved to the restaurant, where the talking and laughing was continued, accompanied by the best food! We went to Carnival Brazilian Steak House in Sioux Falls. What a meal! We all went for the full experience, which means "Gauchos" that circulate amongst the tables with huge skewers of meat and stop at your table to offer you slices. Several different types of beef, pork, chicken and lamb were available to sample, as well as grilled pineapple and fried bananas. Between that and the salad and hot food bar I don’t know how anyone could leave there hungry! It was incredible! Such a warm, friendly staff! And the restaurant itself was decorated beautifully, with fabulous fun lighting! We ended up meeting one of the owners who was circulating amongst the tables, (I think Boomers Duck beads and drumming hat caught his eye!) He got to hear our story of all of us traveling so far to meet, and he ended up bringing us Key Lime shots as a "thank you" for coming! A truly gracious host! After we moved back to the hotel, where we ordered up a fire pit and moved outside with a couple bottles of wine (And a small flask that’s contents should be obviously not necessary to name!)for more talking and laughing! We finally had to move indoors since the chill won over the fire pit heat. Exhaustion finally won the day, especially since everyone needed to have a early start in the morning. We met for breakfast downstairs this morning. Still more talking and laughing! Janna had to leave first, she had an early flight. Mr. and Mrs. 2Beers had to follow a while after, as did Mr. and Mrs. Boomer. I miss them already! ![]() I want to thank you guys for being so brave! I was worried, because, after all, what if we didn’t like each other? How sad would that be? But we did like each other, and we had so much fun! It was great! I wouldn’t have missed it for anything! ![]() P.S. Thank you Bubba and Brutus for giving all of us the chance to meet. If it wasn’t for the forum, I don’t know how I would have ever crossed paths with these wonderful people, and we would have never met. THANK YOU! "This is a standard queen outfit, then?" |

Entre Nous is a great asset to any party! I haven't met the rest of the group in person, but so far, judging by the great conversations here, I bet this gathering was more like a reunion of long time friends! A party without cake is really just a meeting |

I was having sooo much fun stalking you last night with your picture progression on FB....jealous for your fun but grining the whole time!
Glad you had such an enjoyable "first official UNofficial official BubbaCon One" and hope everyone arrives home safe 'n' snuggly sound! And yes, if it weren't for The Two Bs we'd never have the pleasure of enjoying each other's company (in person or "through the tubes"), so thanks to the fellers for providing this forum so that we may share the BnG love! Blah blah blah....yada yada yada! |

RE: Sioux Falls South Dakota Meet-up?
As HardwareGrl said all of traveled just a few miles to meet total strangers. Our mileage was just under the 500 mark one way(lots of bugs to scrape off the windshield).
We too can't say enough on how much fun, laughter and good times there were. There are hopes to meet up again in the future. Thank You!! to HardwareGrl, Entre, Boomer and Mrs.Boomer for one of the very best weekends we have ever had. To Bubba and Brutus----ThankYou! for the opportunity to meet and become friends with these wonderful people. If you can't play by OUR rules take your toys and go home!!

Some were mentioning pics, haven't a clue where they are, it would be nice to see some pictures of the get together here at the Grill.
I like Italian food and Italian roadsters |
