Heart Classic Indian, Waterloo Ontario
I'm really fortunate that this little place is just a stone's throw (if you have a decent arm) from where I live.

Classic Indian is one of those places that's not much to look at but the food is superb. It's a family-run business that's been creating some magnificent Indian dishes for nearly a decade.

I particularly enjoy the onion bhajis (sp?), any and all of their lamb dishes and their wonderful Mullugtwany soup. The soup is also available in jars.

Personally I like spicy stuff, but for those who prefer milder flavours they're happy to cook to your preference.

They also are among the few in the area that carry Indian beers Cheetah and Kingfisher.

So if you find yourself in/around Waterloo, Ontario, and have one of those hankerings for a decent Indian menu at a fair price, be sure to check it out. They offer a buffet style on Friday evenings and Saturdays but I personally prefer table service.

I told ya, it's not much to look at...

For the record, I have no affiliation in any fashion with the restaurant other than being a satisfied patron.

Losers visualize the results of failure and live in fear.
Winners visualize the results of success and live in abundance.
