I was thinking a place on the forum where a person could go to ask specifically for some good thoughts/vibes/prayers might be nice....

Maybe today would be a good day to start this thread.

Wherever you are, I hope you take a moment to think about all of those who lost their lives 10 years ago today.

And if you could give a thought to all of our Armed Forces who continue the fight to defend freedom...

Also, I would like to ask for some good vibes/thoughts/prayers for my cousin-in-law.
He was building me a patio cover, and last night he fell off of the cover.
He broke his left arm and wrist, his right ankle, and as of last night they were still evaluating the right arm/wrist.
He's 65 years old, and really didn't need that fall (who does?) so prayers/thoughts/vibes much appreciated.

Thanks everyone for the energy! That's very kind of you all!
I got a call this afternoon, and the final tally on my Cousin-in-Law-
Left arm/wrist broken (Three hour surgery to put that back together).
Right wrist broken. And yes, he's now splinted in the manner that looks like he's trying to fly.
Right ankle broken, but he has a walking cast.
Nose Broken.
Left eye socket broken.
Not a lot that can be done for the nose and eye socket, just time.

Nettie, I'll be praying for your neighbor, and if you can, remember Monica (Mrs. OneBad) starts treatments tomorrow, so spare some energy for her.


I am in awe of this fine group of folks that gather here.

HardwareGL, that must have been one HECK of a fall to do so much damage! Poor man! He's going to be uncomfortable for weeks! I hope he has a problem free and fast recovery!
