Yes, it certainly is too young. I'm a Bee Gees fan from way back, too - I'm talking the "New York Mining Disaster" days. Poor Barry... he's all alone now

I guess this would fall under the vibe category?

It dawned on me today that this was the anniversary of my mom's death - some 27 years ago. What has been interesting for my siblings and I is that we are seemingly right on the verge of finding out who her real parents were.

Long story short, she found this out when she was in her mid 50's. Her parents never told her, and she never pursued it while she was alive. Well, the laws recently changed in her birth state and now children (like me) can find out more information!

So, this will conclude, on some level anyway, a 30 year mystery. So, I was kind of hoping the letter would arrive today. That would have made for a cosmic moment, eh?

Tomorrow will do!

Normally I wouldnt post like this, but just found out Neil Armstrong, Apollo 11 Commander just passed away. He is a man I have respected almost my whole life. A simple tribute follows.

In a world replete with cardboard heroes and talentless drivel, Armstrong was real. Humble and self-deprecating, almost shy, he was what so many young men inspired to be.

He and his like will be sorely missed.

As I was reading a paragraph in 'Micheners' SPACE/ We had just landed on the moon! Him and Buzz apparently squabbled over who'd be first. Seems the brass wanted Neil because of his "civilian" status.

Also, though not on the same level, we lost Jerry Nelson Friday - one of the original Muppeteers and the voice of Statler, Count Von Count, Lew Zealand, Crazy Harry, Floyd, Snuffleupagus, Kermit's nephew Robin, and many, many more.
