RE: The April Brewhaha thread
We're heeeeeere.....
After 2 commercial flights, 43 hours on the train and getting out of Milwaukee at 4:00 PM in rush hour traffic, we are finally here.
Going to just lie low and charge our batteries at the Country Hearth Inn tonight so's we are in tiptop form for tomorrow.

And N'awlins, I appreciate the effort. Sorry we missed you, but 1:00 AM is a little too late for this old guy. I'm not even sure if we could have gotten off at that point anyways because they were shunting passenger cars around in Spokane making one train out of two while we were there or so I was told. Surprisingly, I slept like a rock on that thing and totally missed Spokane. Was a beautiful evening, though. We got off the train in Wenatchee to stretch our legs and couldn't believe how nice and warm it was. Unfortunately, we aren't taking the train back. We will be leaving Sunday from Ohare through to YYZ and then taking a direct flight from there to YLW. The train was fun, but we don`t want to overdo it ,if you know what I mean. Catch you next time through possibly.

Glad to hear you made it! Yeah I suppose 43 hours on a train is enough for a while. At least you had your own room right? Better than sleeping on the coach seats all night listening to everyone toot. Rolleyes

I have often imagined being in the private room, opening the curtains of that big window in the dark, and laying there lazily watching the small towns pass by as you slowly fall asleep. Was it like that?

I like Italian food and Italian roadsters

Hi Rey:
Yes, we did have our own room - it was fantabulous. Tell you all about it on Saturday...

What you are feeling is the "Quickening", you have been brought together by the power of Bubba.......

Fortunately I gather there can be more than one...........

She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker"
