Apple Butter Spread/Dip
I have to thank HardwareGrl for my inspiration on this treat.

2 8 oz blocks of cream cheese -room temp-
1 16 oz jar of Homemade( Big Grin ) Apple Butter*
Milk 1-2 TBSP
1 cup ( more or less ) toasted/sightly salted peacans

In a mixing bowl or food processor whip the cream cheese with the milk just a little at a time enough to make it spreadable. Take the softened cheese and spread onto a large platter keeping it even cross the whole platter. Then take the apple butter and also spread it ontop of the cream cheese. Garnish with crushed pecans(if desired) and serve with crackers, or gingersnap cookies.

* You could use pumkin butter instead of the apple. We also make this with the creamcheese and then canned Cranberry sauce ontop.
The Townhouse crackers went well with the spread, but
we also tried it with gingersnap cookies and it was pretty good too.

Nomnomnom to that! Sounds amazing (and love the pumpkin butter idea!) thanks to 2Beers and HardwareGrl for the share! Cheers!

Peace & Cheers ~

You evil woman!Big Grin
I'm still stuck in SD, I can't wait till I get home to try this!

Don't suppose you and Barry want to come back this weekend and keep me company?Tongue

I probably should say that if you want the recipe for the Apple Butter the recipe is in the Canned, Pickled and Preserved section.

"This is a standard queen outfit, then?"
