RE: Guilty Musical (or other) Pleasures
So if I wore my Third Day shirt to a Rush show, it might get a comment?

i will always have a soft spot for Gary Richrath-era REO Speedwagon. He;ll always be one of my favorite gutarists....just love the way he plays....and there were some terrific rock'n roll in there, too. Check out their first live album (You get what you play for - 1977) if you don't believe me.

That's my story and i'm stickin' to it! ;-)

There's your comment, Nettie Big Grin

High school, it was Jethro Tull, Led Zeppelin, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Janis Joplin and Hendrix.
College it was Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers, Tower of Power, Stevie Wonder, ELP, The Who, EWF, Genesis, Robin Trower.
After college, it was Rush, Police, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Colin Hay.
Through it all.....my beloved Bach!

If I'd known you were French, I'd have worn galoshes...

Would it be wrong to wear an Air Supply tshirt to a Pantera concert?

Who mentioned JS Bach? Woohoo.....

Robin Trower... wow. Gunga, we gotta talk, woman. I saw him in Savannah after Bridge of Sighs was released in '74.
Amazing. I was only 13 and in awe of Trower.

Saw Pat Travers right after that when Pat told an over-zealous fan that he would stop the show, come into the crowd, and beat the sh!t out of him.

Saw KISS in ('76?) whilst wearing my Allman Bros- "Eat A Peach" shirt.

Saw (folks, you may want to sit down and lean over a bucket here) Air Supply... because I was dating a college cheerleader that bought a ticket and said she would, well... not be nice to me if I didn't go.... wearing my Led Zep shirt.
She redeemed herself though - took me to Chuck Mangioni in the Savannah Symphony Hall, and his band was incredible.

Most of us are so caught up in life that we forget to live it.

I don't know if anyone was cross-shirt dressing when my brother and I trekked down to Phillie to see Rush. Apparently there are two concert venues next to one another. Imagine half the parking lot with Rush fans and the other half Jimmy Buffet fans.

A bunch of stoned geeks dressed in black and eyeglasses next to some hairy drunk guys with coconut bikinis.

I'm certain that out of thousands of stoned and drunk people that parties inadvertently switched by accident and wound up at the wrong concert.

Yep: all the hair bands and...Skid Row. Sebastian Bach was soooo pretty! LOL

I saw KISS at the Miami Arena on Hallowe'en and the spectacle was all I had hoped it would be. KISS Army en force, baby! I'm always Gene...
