I know that my problem is exercise because I really am not a big eater. Even with treats I have no problem reigning in my intake. A pint of Ben & Jerry's will last me a week because I'll eat 7 or 8 spoons and then stop. I can eat a handful of chips and be satisfied. I eat small portions at meals. So I really just need to get moving! You're right about portion sizes, though. We're so used to big portions that we have no concept of 2 oz. or 1/2 cup, etc. A small scale is a great idea! ... in a world where I feel so small I can't stop thinking big! |
