RE: Love Food But Need To Lose Weight
Yeah, I guess the example above was more on the "extreme" side, but I was adding up what I ate just yesterday. Most days are probably closer to 1500 for me. I just needed a jumpstart to get me going. Overall it works really well, it has been tried and proven already with me last year.

Gunga, sure if you can mix in a regular to get the sugar and calories even lower, and don't mind the taste, then all the more power to you. But I am speaking to the ones who are maybe coming off those sugary cereals. If you cut out too much of the flavor it tastes so bland it is hard to stay motivated and keep eating it. Why deny yourself what pleasure is left? Ha ha. I have tried mixing in regular, or even the low sugar varieties, but to me then it tastes to diet like to me. Then I don't want to eat it at all. But it all boils down to personal taste. Eat the lowest sugar you can stand. For me it brings some pleasure to breakfast and still lets me lose weight.

if you deny your body of too many calories it goes into "famine" mode.
You will start to store any calories and fat that you take in and will not lose weight like you want. My doc had me cut out all soda and sugar drinks and watch my intake of fatty foods, I've seen a wieght loss of over 20 lbs. in a little more than two months without really tryingSmile

I like Italian food and Italian roadsters
