I would LOVE to hug you Mufasa! Buy me a dram first?

RE: Calendar Contest
I need to keep a browser tab open to this site. The contest was over before it begun, it seems! You guys are too fast!

Congrats you four.

RE: Calendar Contest
The next contest I'll give at least 24 hours warning.

Sacred cows make the best hamburgers.

I bought a doughnut and they gave me a receipt for the doughtnut... I don't need a receipt for the doughnut. I give you money and you give me the doughnut, end of transaction. We don't need to bring ink and paper into this. I can't imagine a scenario that I would have to prove that I bought a doughnut. To some skeptical friend, 'Don't even act like I didn't get that doughnut, I've got the documentation right here... It's in my file at home. ...Under "D".'

RE: Calendar Contest
Brutus, this contest thing is fun. Looking forward to what creative fun you're going to come up with.

What we would also like because we're such a fun group (the regulars) is to be invited to cook and dine with Bubba and you. I'd travel to Canada for that. So would everyone I'm certain, right everyone??!!

RE: Calendar Contest
Thanks everyone, but there will be more contests, and more winners to come I'm sure. Maybe I could have a contest too? I have an old calender from 2003 I found in a drawer, and I could even sign it! Any takers? (Cue up the Gunga's crickets again...)

PS: Now now, Vincent, sure that would be great, but don't put them on the spot like that!

Well-weathered leather, hot metal and oil, the scented country air..
