RE: Haggis
Perhaps unsurprisingly I like haggis(!), i'm certainly not one who's overly keen on offal-related foods, but if you put the haggis's reputation aside, the reality is that it's a pretty tasty dish, with a nice spicy kick to it, best enjoyed with some neeps and tatties and the obligatory wee dram. Obviously you have to catch the haggis first, but it's easy to do as they have one leg shorter than the other and tend to run around in circles Wink

Brutus, that Scottish comedian you mentioned, it wasn't a guy called Rikki Fulton was it?

There's a lot of it about.

Best if you herd them to a hill or mountain, plenty of those in Scotland, and then they have to go up, because of the leg inequality, and then you can catch them at the top - as they can`t come back down when they start climbing.......Tongue

She looked at me and rolled those big brown eyes and said, "Oh, I would do it all for you, `cos you`re a Rocker"

I have hunted a few,Smile and I too liked the taste. Funny how the word offal can put you off some dishes. I used to make a signature dish called Kidney and Bacon Salpicon with cheese gruyere, which was lovely, until someone said, "What offal - no thanks!" Sad

Sounds pretty good to me, although everything's better with bacon...and cheese!
