Sweet/hot little smokies
This one is sooooo tasty but it sounds wierd.
(1) Two packs little smokies (Ilike the beef ones...but whatever you like is good ta go) one half jar smuckers grape jelly one half bottle suracha(sp?) hot chinesse chilli sauce the one with the chicken on it.) Put smokies in crock pot, add chilli sauce, grape jelly, let set 'till hot stirring occasionally..... serve to guests, take accolades. tell them you're buddy Bear gave you the recipe. Luv ya'all Bear. I want to look at life - In the available light. (off-road light that is...) |

RE: Sweet/hot little smokies
I just pour a bottle of barbeque sauce over mine...as hot or as mild as you like.
Mine will be mild The Groundhog lied. |

RE: Sweet/hot little smokies
Desertbear, we've done that recipe with a bottle of regular chili sauce and the grape jelly and also used 1 to 2 bags of cheater frozen meatballs in place of the little smokies.
As a side note I made the meatball recipe for a get together, but didn't have grape jelly I used blueberry jam instead and added in some green Tabasco sauce. They turned out pretty good the crock pot came home empty. If you can't play by OUR rules take your toys and go home!!
