Gee--it's nearly impossible to see even AFTER he pointed it out!

If I'd known you were French, I'd have worn galoshes...

Hey, remember these little skull seed pods from last year? They turned out to be snapdragons!

I never would have guessed! Snapdragons don't grow wild here and I've never planted any. Ya know, those seed pods would make great beads! If you get any extras I'd be interested in trying to string some. Maybe make another "Roll The Bones" necklace....

Spring is coming!!!! My little baby fig tree that's been dormant all winter is getting leaves!!! Granted, I've had the tree in the nice, warm house for the winter, but it's GROWING! YAY!

RE: Nature
Do you get out much? What do you love to do outside? What is your season?

Well, my work takes me outdoors quite a bit, for which I'm grateful. My favorite season is probably autumn, but I should add that it is a first among equals. I'm pretty fond of all four seasons here in the Imperial Midwest.

I love to hike/walk, ride my bicycle*, and get out in my little kayak when I can. I just kicked off my 2012 cycling season by riding about 50 miles over two days. (I may have overdid it, hahaha)

* On another note I picked up "Masked Rider" about a year ago, and I am finally getting around to reading it. Blush
I thought it was about motorcycles, but I was doubly thrilled to see it's about bicycles. Futhermore, that book led me to this forum. Who knows where these paths lead, eh? Smile

You'll love The Masked Rider. Bubba is so good at describing his environment: you can picture the birds and trees and the feel of Africa. I doubt I'll ever go there so it's nice to be taken there by a good writer.

So far so good. It certainly inspires me to keep pedaling!
