RE: Let's See Your Pets!!
The three of us just got back from Ms. K's first airplane ride (to Florida to see my parents) and we had no sooner landed in our car, eagerly anticipating the ride home and a nap in our own beds that my phone rang ... apparently, our Lhasa Apso (CocoBean) =, who has had some issues in the past (and one surgery) with Eye Ulcers had a small one that "melted" and her iris (or a small portion of it) is now external rather than internal. I know - EEEEEWWWW!
We have already paid, several years ago, to have the left eye repaired from a nearly ruptured eye from a melting ulcer (feel free to google it. Its a GROSS read). Now, the left one is even worse. Apparently, she can still see, and though we initially said, remove the eye at a cost of 1600$ the 2200$ to save he sight seems reasonable. Its a fascinating surgery to do this cornea graft, lots of micro surgery. Love my job, but I think I chose the wrong profession. Good thing the Vet has a payment/credit plan Should be getting a call any min. now with an update and prognosis...
